Special Town Meeting Oct 2012 lasted one day and covered 7 articles. Duplicate article numbers were amendments and other procedural measures.
In the cases where the margin between Yes and No was <20% we calculated a number of minutes to SCV the audience.
The total SCV value was 14 minutes. There were 10 actual electronic votes of which each took 1 minute. The difference between 14 and 10 is 4 minutes of town meeting time saved.
In this case, we got parity with voting speed vs. the traditional methods but we also got accuracy and privacy.
