Annual Town Meeting April 2012 on day 4/9 and 4/10 4/11 and 4/12 considered 25 articles.
Duplicate article numbers were amendments and other procedural measures.
In the cases where the margin between Yes and No was <20% we calculated a number of minutes to SCV the audience.
The total SCV value was 342 minutes. There were 59 actual electronic votes of which each took 1 minute. The difference between 341 and 59 is 282 minutes or 4 hours; 42 minutes of town meeting time saved. Clearly we saved at leasts ONE complete session of town meeting since it would have carried into a fifth session.
